Service maintenance in October and November 2023

Custobar has a planned a service maintenance routine affecting your environment on one night in October or November. Custobar’s IP address will change during the maintenance break, which may require your action. Please read the instructions carefully.

Custobar will be unavailable for a brief while

On one night in October or November, 2023 we expect your Custobar environment to be unavailable for 15-30 minutes due to maintenance. Please check your Custobar environment or email for the specific time and date. *You will receive this information on Monday, October 16, 2023 the latest.

Custobar’s IP address changes - Does that affect me?

  • Yes, this affects you if your company has whitelisted Custobar’s current IP address.
  • No, this does not affect you if your company has not whitelisted Custobar’s IP address.

Custobar’s IP address changes during the maintenance, which means that if you have whitelisting in place, you need to whitelist Custobar’s new IP address before the maintenance day stated above or else connections to Custobar will fail after the maintenance.

We recommend forwarding this information to your technical partner or the person responsible for getting data in and out of Custobar.

If you have whitelisting in place, whitelist Custobar’s new IP address before the service maintenance date mentioned above. You can de-whitelist the old IP address only after the service maintenance break. Please check your Custobar environment or email for the new IP address.

How to prepare for the service maintenance?

Do not schedule any campaigns for the duration of the maintenance break. You should also ensure API calls to Custobar are retried if there is a network error. Your active automations will run as usual after the break. However, you cannot log in to Custobar during the break for a maximum of 30 minutes.
